Concetta Antico

A native of Sydney, Australia, Concetta K. Antico, is a gifted artist who has painted with oils since childhood. Her talent resonated throughout her education, resulting in fine art awards throughout high school. Ms. Antico went on to study visual arts at the Sydney Institute of Advanced Education and received her degree in Education with honors. She paints prolifically and participates in numerous workshops and paint-outs throughout the country.

In the spirit of great instructors such as Merritt Chase & Henri, Ms. Antico has personally inspired thousands of oil painting students for over 10 years. Her legacy continues daily at her Salon of Art studio and workshops en plein air.

The uniqueness of Ms. Antico’s work is the result a divine marriage between the artist and nature. Her paintings are permanent reminders of all that is beautiful in the world and her interaction in it. These creations are an intrinsic and extrinsic interplay, which comes forth as a profound fourth dimension on her canvas. In this way, Ms. Antico creates a purposeful venue, one, which sustains beauty forever. This is one of the great legacies of her life’s work.

A highly successful self represented artist, Ms. Antico’s work has been coveted by the great number of permanent collections and private collectors across the United States and internationally. Her work has been the focus of numerous public shows and has benefited many charitable events. Today, her primary focus is the production and promotion of her fine oil works as an en plein air painter. To support this goal, Antico Fine Art Gallery in La Jolla, California, has been established.
