Jim McConlogue

Jim McConlogue lives in the coastal town of Encinitas, California with his wife and three children. He paints with oil, both en plein air and out of his home studio.

Jim has studied life drawing, painting and illustration through the Corcoran School of Art, U.C.S.D. Extension, The Athenaeum School of the Arts, St. Mary’s College, and a plein-air workshop with Ken Auster.

Jim is currently working on a number of commissioned paintings, and his work was recently shown at the Del Mar Country Club.

Jim will soon launch a web site featuring his paintings and is actively pursuing gallery representation. His work can be shown by appointment at his home studio, or a catalog of available paintings can be sent via e-mail.
