I love creating art. I love the thrill and challenge of each new painting. With art, there are no sure-fire formulas for success. No instruction manuals come with the paint brushes.

It is often incredibly difficult to even know when a painting is finished. Yet, with much practice, artists figure it out, and even develop their own unique style. Learning art is my life.

I am largely self-taught. However, I've read many art instruction books over the years and consider many artists to be my mentor.
