What is the PleinAirCollection?
The PleinAirCollection is an online artist collection, devoted to the work of living American plein air and impressionist painters, as well as those artists whose work is related to this general theme.
Who can participate?
Any past or current customer of Plein Air Frames is eligible. Each individual will have his/her own page, administered and updated by us.
How much does it cost?
There is no charge for this service. We do not sell paintings through the PleinAirCollection and collect no fees of any kind.
How can I get involved?
Simply send us your information and we will create your personal page. This service is provided to the artist customers of Plein Air Frames at no charge.
Can I put images of my paintings online?
Yes. Send us your images in print or as digital files. We suggest four to six images. The maximum number of images is currently limited to eight (8). We prefer JPEG of GIF files. Other file formats may require additional time to process. We will determine the best optimization methods for the Internet.
Can I include a biography?
Each individual will determine the information offered to visitors - such as personal profiles, contact info, and samples of work. Please see the submission page for more information.
What if I already have a Web site?
We are happy to provide links to any site related to your work. We ask that you secure permission to allow us to link to any page(s) other than your own. We also encourage artist participants to link to the PleinAirCollection whenever possible.
What if I have an exclusive agreement with a third party?
No problem. We can add link(s) or contact info for any other site/person. We do not communicate with your buyers, nor do we sell your paintings. We simply display your information.
Do I get my own Domain Name?
No. Your page will be part of the PleinAirCollection web site.
Can I make changes to my page?
Please send us any requests for changes. We will confirm these requests and make necessary modifications.
How long does it take to see my page online?
Your page will typically be available in 30-60 days from receipt of your materials.
